COPY AND PASTE
Dear all pageant fans and HOB loyal supporters,
In a virtual space where distance and time is never an issue (the internet), HOB was shocked to discover that a blog post entitled "COUNT DOWN TO MACIP 2008" which was originally posted in HOB on 17 Oct 2008, was being 'cut and paste' without further modification or due credit given to the administrator, at chanchanstory.blogspot.com.
HOB is indeed very happy that people are recognizing and supporting this blog. However, HOB would really appreciates if due credit is given in an event of re-posting.

HOB PREDICTIONS FOR MACIP 2008
To be honest, there is no clear winner for this year's pageant unlike the past few years. Therefore, it will be a bit harder for HOB to predict who might be crowned. Nevertheless, after much deliberation with the my own thoughts, HOB has finally decided on the below "might be" list.

COUNT DOWN TO MACIP 2008
The race is on, and we are counting down to exactly one week before the finals! HOB is excited to share some inner thoughts of this year's pageant materials, with all you pageant freaks out there hahah!
1. Lyn, 20, Penang, 174cm, 51kg, 32-23-36, University Student - Got the heights and a sweet face but lacking in charisma. Her cool attitude might cause her to lose some votes.
2. Kamen, 19, KL, 160cm, 47kg, 33-24-35, College Student - Yet another cute face but nothing really shines in her yet. Hope to see her opening up more on her personality.
3. Linaa, 20, KL, 160cm, 47kg, 32-24-34, College Student - I like her video, looks so cute and fresh. HOB is not sure whether she will make it, but the judges might like her charisma and smile.
4. Carine, 25, Pahang, 162cm, 47kg, 33-25-35, Marketing Exec. - She looks like Miriam Yeung (Hong Kong singer) and she looks smart too. This lady might pull a surprise!
5. Felicia, 25, Perlis, 174cm, 55kg, 32-25-36, Insurance Agent - There is something about her that HOB likes. She might not have the looks but she definitely stands a chance to succeed.
6. May, 23, KL, 173cm, 58kg, 32-26-38, University Student - Very lively character but not a pageant material. At least not for MACIP!!
7. Queen, 21, Johor, 164cm, 47kg, 31-23-36, Model - Must learn to be more natural in front of the camera. Looks a bit fake or just trying too hard.
8. Renee, 22, Ipoh, 164cm, 51kg, 31-26-38, College Student - Very sharp features she has, but she must learn how to stand out from the crowd and shines in the finals. Not so well groomed to be a pageant winner although with good looks. Anyway, No.8 is always the luckiest number in MACIP history hahaha! Who knows she might walk away as the new winner!
9. Joey, 23, Ipoh, 165cm, 47kg, 31-23-34, Fresh Graduate - Joey was a semi-finalist in MACIP 2005. A very sweet girl but not a winner we are looking for.
10. Kelly, 22, Negeri Sembilan, 161cm, 43kg, 31-22-34, Beauty Consultant - Looks nice in pictures but not so appealing in person. Must learn how to stand and walk like a beauty queen!

OLYMPIC FEVER IS SO OVER, BUT THE BEAUTY REMAINS
As always, HOB will never missed out on any chances where beauties can be admired through the lens. And in the Beijing Olympics recently, the Russian rythmic gymnastic team that clinched the Gold medal managed to capture the eyes of HOB not just with their charming looks but also their impeccable talent.
Standing at no less than 170cm tall, all the young gymnasts portrayed tons of determination in defending their world champion status. Hopefully we will get to see our Malaysian team qualifying in the most beautiful sports ever, soon. *grins*

The journey in searching for yet another Malaysian hopeful to represent our country in China or Hong Kong next year has started since June. Unfortunately, HOB has not been following closely to this pageant due to the hectic lifestyle the administrator is struggling through.
Nevertheless, MACIP fans have all the rights to catch up on the latest buzz of the pageant at www.missastro2008.com :)
